What is the Centro de Lazer de São João da Caparica?
The Centro de Lazer is an accommodation unit, who´s aim is to provide temporary lodging.

Do we belong Movijovem?
No.  The building is owned by the municipality of Almada and is managed by Arribatejo – Local Development Agency.

What is the difference between the Centro de Lazer and a Youth Hostel?
The difference is that the Youth Hostels of Portugal have a network of hostels throughout the country with central headquarters in Lisbon, and have discounts for those in possesion of youth cards (Cartão Jovem) that can be used throughout Portugal.  The Centro de Lazer is unique, located in Costa da Caparica, open to the general public, making its reservations on site.
